Where’s Your Hope?
Linda is one of our Sunday School Teachers. Pastor Leanne and I are getting to team-teach with her this summer, and it’s wonderful.
This Sunday, talking about some handouts she’s been preparing, she said, “I’m running about a chapter behind what we’re studying each week, but at least I’m still running.” I love that line; so much packed in there.
Isaiah 40:31 says of all who “hope in the Lord…they will run and not grow weary.”
But does “weary” fit you today, and do you groan more than you “run?”
Maybe take a look at on whom and what you’ve placed your “hope.”
An old song says, My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
Pretty solid stuff there.
