Shadows and Light, part 3 of 3.
“Every picture has its shadows, and it has some source of light,” says a Joni Mitchell song.
Sounds like the kind of days that I know quite well.
Maybe you do, too.
Let’s remember that —
+ we are loved by the One who called Himself “the Light of the world” (John 8:12),
+ that same One also said that you and I are to let our own “lights shine” (Matthew 5:16),
+ and long before we came along St. Francis said, “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.”
Be that candle.
