They Say We Do This More Than Other Groups
A friend’s family member works in the hospitality industry in Peoria.
Our Annual Conference just met there last week.
The family member in the hotel and food industry says that there are two weeks of the year that people in that profession dread: conventions of both the United Methodists and the Lutherans.
The reason? Brace yourself for this. “They hate to see us coming because we complain more than any other group. They say that church people complain about everything.”
Ouch.
Can’t we do better?
