I Just Want to Celebrate
Bishop Woodie W. White used to remind us that every day is a gift.
There’s an old song by a band called Rare Earth that says
I just want to celebrate
another day of living.
Good reminders from the Bishop and that song.
(Ironically, that song is used in the film “The Expendables 2.” Let’s not go there today, tempting though the movie title itself might be for some of us to worry about.)
Join me today; the song’s chorus ends with a simple statement:
I just want to celebrate
another day of life!
