Sharon Says

Yesterday she wrote and posted this:

Thank you God for letting me serve You in ways that I can.

When I asked her if I could quote her, Sharon Manning said yes.  Then she added, My thinking was I don’t have a lot of money, time or talents but I serve God in the ways that I can.

As a former pastor at her church, I know how much everyone else counts on her.

Her steady, supportive presence is powerful.

To be greeted by her is to be blessed enough for the rest of the week.

I’ll stop, because she’s already blushing.  But like that Celine Dion song from that movie about a boat, I could go on and and on and on about Sharon and her Christian witness.

You and I can learn a lot from her, so let’s start this new work week with her words ringing in our hearts:
