Advent B — “Be Patient”
Looking back from this fourth weekend in Advent and it’s a good time to reconsider and remember some basics.
The second weekend in Advent, I preached from James 5 on patience while waiting for Christ’s return.
That includes being patient with God, even as we ask difficult questions.
Patience with the people in our lives is a grace-filled gift, especially during what can be holiday craziness.
And patience with ourselves is a necessity.
With whom do you need to exercise a little extra patience today — yourself, that relative or co-worker, or God?
