Ticketed for Being Outrageously Happy

Last evening our church’s Children and Youth Drama Group presented Arrest These Merry Gentlemen. 

I have only one word to describe it: PHENOMENAL.

One of many great lines includes the threat of getting “ticketed for being outrageously happy without a license.”

If ever there were a phrase that should characterize Christians, it’s that.

Especially during this Advent-Christmas season..

Especially today, this third Sunday in Advent when churches light the pink candle in the Advent wreath: it’s called the Candle of Joy.

I wish there were someway everyone reading this could join us for this morning’s 9:30am service and be blessed by this musical our kids are doing.

It reminds me that because of Christ, we do in fact have “a license” to be “outrageously happy.”
