Free Friday Bonus: RSVP on Worship Opportunities Beyond Sundays
Lovett H. Weems, Jr. posted this in October…I’d love to hear your response —
“One church recently discovered that 30 percent of workers in their county must work on Sundays all the time or some of the time. Saturday night services have been popular, but some churches are using other days, especially in places or seasons when many people go away on the weekends. Keep in mind that when Korea went to a five-day work week, many church goers began going to leisure areas on the weekends. Many of the larger churches established worship and prayer centers where the people were going.”

The Great Commission says GO. Do we need a paradigm shift? Should we be going where the people we are trying to reach are rather than expecting or inviting them to come to us. How many people actually accept Christ at church? I don’t mean to imply that the church isn’t necessary. I just think we need to be constantly challenged to look at what and how we do church. We need to listen with our spirits to what God might be calling us to do.
