Another One of Those Miracles
This is the day the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
— Psalm 118:24
This is the day.
An ancient Hebrew way of viewing a day is like this: “…and there was evening, and there was morning–the third day.” (Genesis 1:13)
A cycle.
A time frame.
At once expansive and confined.
And look! You and I’ve been given another one of those miracles called a day.
Just enough time to rejoice and be glad in it.
Plenty of time to rejoice and be glad in it.
