She does her job. He fulfills his responsibilities. They make a difference.
She’s the pharmacist who answers your questions.
He’s the cashier who greets you by name and has a discount coupon you can use.
They are sprinkled throughout the day. They season it just right. This prayer is a moment to be thankful for them.
Imagine how good and pleasant it would be for you to thank them directly, too, as they labor for the common good.
