At the Door
Some churches in Africa celebrate Holy Communion differently than we do. We can learn a lot from them.
When celebrating Holy Communion, the bread and cup are literally given at the door on the way out. The understanding is that these elements are “food for your journey into your mission field.”
Like I said, there’s a lot we can learn from that practice.
