There’s a Palm Branch Outside Your Front Door
“They took branches of palm trees
and went out to meet Him,
shouting, ‘Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes
in the name of the Lord — the king of Israel!'”
John 12:13
If your church gives you a palm branch today, take it home and display it outside your front door.
It can be both a witness to your Christian faith to others and reminder for yourself that this is Holy Week.
Like hymn 279 in The United Methodist Hymnal says, “From every corner a thousand voices sing praises to Him who comes in the name of God/With one great shout of acclamation loud triumphant song breaks forth: ‘Hosanna to the King!'”
