It’s a direct appeal.
In my dissertation research I found 5 reasons why people are active in a local congregation. The second most important reason was that someone had extended a personal invitation.
Before the first verse of Psalm 122, “they said to me, ‘Let’s go….” And then “I was glad.”
Somebody’s waiting for you to invite them today.
