John 3:16 is great — “For God so loved the world that He gave us his only Son, so that all who believe in Him would not die, but have everlasting life.”
The next verse makes it even better. John 3:17 says, “God did not send His Son into condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
Adding John 3:17 to John 3:16 is like having both peanut butter and jelly.
One is good.
Both are better.
