“Prove It” — 6th in a series on Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Do not be like the people of this world, but have a new mind.

Then you will prove for yourselves what God wants you to do.

That will be good.  It will please God.  And it will be all right.

“Ya gotta have New Eyes to see this stuff,” a favorite comedian of mine used to say.

Apparently our old friend St. Paul would agree, adding that we can’t understand what he’s saying until we have “a new mind.”

Only then can we not just hope for, and not just wonder about, but be able to “prove” for ourselves what God would have us do next.

Even if “the people of this world” don’t understand what we’re doing, or why…we’ll know.

Because “That will be good.  It will please God.  And it will be all right.”

Sometimes it takes New Eyes to see that.
