CLUB 444: wait, both kinds of fans?!

I stopped in today at the new Washington Fellowship United Methodist Church, who had to start meeting in a school gym after outgrowing two barns the last two weeks.

It is amazing to see the United Methodist movement of “open hearts, open minds, and open doors” continue for these people called Methodists even after the painful process of losing their old church building due to disaffiliation from the denomination on the grounds of a different interpretation over who is welcome at the table.

Washington Fellowship UMC has made it clear you are invited whether you are

-Democrat

-Republican

-Gay

-Straight

And even…the most radical

-Cubs fan

-Cardinal fan
