Of Shaking Foundations and Dead Ends
Carey Nieuwhof is a church consultant who’s both a recovering attorney and a working pastor. Here are five things that he believes won’t work. I agree these will soon turn into dead ends if we go down these paths. We’re all trying to move forward from our pandemic season of almost three years now —
1. What worked before is going to work again
2. The building will be the center of ministry
3. You don’t need to take online ministry that seriously
4. The future will be linear
5. Running really hard is the only way to fix this
— If you caught yourself nodded along to any of those five, thinking them to be the way to go, you’re missing his point.
