Not Yet All Saints

Writing about Colossians 1:1-8, Lynne Baab says, “Paul views the gospel as profoundly relational.”

Many churches will observe All Saints’ Day around the time Trick or Treating happens.

We will name those formerly among us who have gone on ahead of the rest of us to the other side of eternity.

Hebrews 12:1 forms the basis for much that is behind this practice.

With that framing some of our understandings, St. Paul and Ms. Baab can guide us between now then.
