From a Campus Pastor

Few if any have said these things any better than our SIU-C Wesley Foundation Director —

Things are changing in the United Methodist Church, and we don’t know what the other side will look like for us. There are many decisions to be made in our future. Some are ours to make, and others will be made that affect us. 

While we don’t know what the future holds, we do know who holds the future. We believe that we are called to be a presence and a place that connects with colleges students and help them grow in their faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 says “The one who calls you is faithful, and HE will do it” We are called by God to do his work and he will make it happen. We know it won’t be easy and we know during this uncertain time we are not alone.

We covet your prayers as we move through this process. Pray that as our ministry moves forward, we always make connecting students to the gospel of Jesus and meeting the needs of the students our focus.
