Paul W. Chilcote said it well last evening —-

While I genuinely seek to embrace all people, even those with whom I disagree, I also know that you can never coerce an embrace.

This evening, therefore, I place trust in the earnest appeal of St. Paul and his deep longing for love, harmony, and peace in the community of faith:

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful” (Col. 3:14-15).

– – – Amen?
