The Most Beautiful Life, part 2 of 2.

“Your business is life, not death,” Jesus says in Matthew 8. “Follow me. Pursue life.”

Then he got in the boat, his disciples with him. The next thing they knew, they were in a severe storm. Waves were crashing into the boat—and he was sound asleep! They roused him, pleading, “Master, save us! We’re going down!”

Jesus reprimanded them. “Why are you such cowards, such faint-hearts?” Then he stood up and told the wind to be silent, the sea to quiet down: “Silence!” The sea became smooth as glass.

—- The Bible doesn’t tell us how many more storms they encountered.

You and I don’t know how any more storms we’ll encounter.

But when, not if, we do, to whom do we turn?

Let’s remind each other of the One who promises His followers real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of. (John 10:10b)

Sounds like a more than beautiful life!
