The National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis features a spiral staircase in the lobby as an allusion to: “Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase”. – Martin Luther King Jr. I’ve had a bumper sticker with that quote on my motorcycle the past two years. I highly recommend a long weekend trip to Memphis and the museum for anyone living in the Belleville area.
