A Prayer for This Week — part 4
God, help me to choose
to embrace the new things
that lead me to your unseen blessings.
Joshua 24:15 calls us to choose this day whom (we) shall serve.
Let’s rip that first phrase out of context and live with it at least for today: choose this day.
Sometimes it’s as simple as that: choose this day.
Not yesterday.
Not a week from tomorrow.
Not even tomorrow.
Choose this day.
And let’s live in it.
