Every Movement, part 2
“Every movement leaves behind those who will not move,” says Robb McClintock.
From somewhere in a back corner of dim, dusty archives of outdated sermon illustrations comes this —
A married couple was riding along the car when she scooted across the front seat to sit in the middle.
She snuggled up against him and said, “Remember when we used to do this?”
He put his arm around her and told her, “I’m not the one who moved.”
— I warned you it was outdated. And wrong on several levels.
But does God need to remind us, “I’m not the one who moved” because we “lost our first love” of Christ? (Revelation 2:4)
Time to get closer again?
