My Favorite.
I was asked recently for my favorite Bible verse.
Good question.
Not an easy answer.
There are two that tie for First Place on my List.
One’s generally understood to be Gospel in one sentence and the other I’ve come to understand as its application.
The former is John 3:16 —
God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son,
that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish
but have eternal life.
