It’s About Forgiveness
“If you become debt-free and decide that you hate it, you can always go back and get some more,” says Dave Ramsey.
He continues, “But I have a feeling you won’t really want to.”
As very young children some of us were taught a prayer that asks God to “forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.” That’s part of how Christ Jesus teaches us to pray in The King James Version of Matthew 6:12.
I love the Dave Ramsey image of not wanting to go into debt again. I love even more Christ’s image of forgiving in the same way we have been forgiven.
