Fears and Uncertainties
“If belief is entrusting what matters most to us in this life, shouldn’t we be able to let go of our fears and uncertainties, trusting that the things that matter most to us also matter to God?”
So asks Rev. Bradley Bunn in Disciplines 2021, page 142.
The liturgy I use at gravesides includes a prayer asking for help “to entrust You with those who are so important to us, both in this life and the life to come.”
Let’s weave those two quotes together and see where that takes us today.
My hope and prayer is that it leads to being “able to let go of our fears and uncertainties.”
