BONUS BLOG: In Life, in Death, in Life Beyond Death

It’s that last sentence.

It’s woven all through here* but it’s that last sentence that confirms it.

Those United Methodists are at it again.

Or, generally, are still at it.

Specifically, Kathy Smith.

It was my honor to be with Kathy and Charlie and their family as one of their pastors during some very challenging times. The link* below gives hints; mercy.

I found myself literally in tears of joy and amazement brought on by the last sentence —

Donations in Kathy’s name may be made to

the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR),

Henderson Settlement

or to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.

— Those first two in particular, UMCOR and Henderson Settlement, are ministries about which I cannot say enough good. Pretty much just like Kathy and Charlie and their family and their shared commitment and witness.

In life, in death, in life beyond death, United Methodist Christians make a difference.

Specifically, Kathy Smith.
