Bob Marley, St. Paul, You…and Who Else?
Stacy Hulm recently wrote this and graciously says it’s ok to share this with you —-
As Paul was preaching the gospel some unbelieving Jews turned the crowds against him, They stoned him, carried him out of the city thinking he was dead. But notice what happened when the Believers gathered around him:
(Acts 14; 19, 20) “They stoned Paul and dragged him out of town, thinking he was dead. But as the believers gathered around him, he got up and went back into the town.”
HE GOT UP!!! This is the power of being among faith-filled believers. Surround yourself with those who speak life into you! Everyone else may leave you for dead, but your fellow believers will help you to get up again!
— In the words of Bob Marley, “Get up, stand up!”
And as a follower of the resurrected Christ Jesus, you have even more reason.
Two Questions
Who’s surrounding you with their life-giving presence?
For whom are you doing that?
Two Action Steps
