For Easy Access to Water
Today I’m thankful for easy access to water.
You and I don’t have to search for water, dig for water, bring water up to the surface, carry water back to wherever, and go back for more.
You and I have easy access to safe, clean water. Not everyone does.
It was my honor to pastor a survivor of the Bataan Death March, who always wanted a glass of water within easy reach. You do the math; yup, that’s why.
Today, you and I simply turn a tap that’s found in at least a couple of rooms where we live and out comes hot or cold running water that we’re not afraid to drink.
Today I’m thankful for such easy access to water, an essential for life.
