For The Day After an Election
Yesterday I was thankful to be able to vote.
Today I’m thankful to live where and when these things are relatively peaceful and civil.
And, as a subtext, or even context, if you haven’t yet read The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, consider this a strong recommendation.
The book a clever collection of advice pieces written from an avuncular demon to his nephew, and it’s stuck with me years after my first reading.
