Not Just for Retirees on a Thursday
Starting where we stopped yesterday —
Restlessness sometimes arrives holding hands with worry.
Somebody has said that worry is a down payment on a problem you may never have. Covers it pretty well.
Antidote? Here are three tablespoons of truth (hey, I think that’s the title of a book I need to write!)—
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)
Be still and know that I am God. (Psalm 46:10)
Do not be anxious about your life. (Matthew 6:25)
— See you back here tomorrow.
