Wait, What?

February 21, 2018

Matthew Gaston writes —

A counselor friend reminds me from his practice that instead of focusing on the ‘why’ questions in a crisis, he helps his clients to focus on the ‘what’ questions:

What can I learn from this?

What can I do differently going forward

because of this experience?

‘What’ questions give energy; ‘why’ questions only steal it away.

— As Christ Jesus says in Mark 4:9, “Let those with ears to hear, listen up.”

Don’t know if you know but our friend Glynn Shubert is in intensive care at St Anthony’s and Wife Marge has fallen and damaged her hip. She however is at home now with Vicky and Allen so they need our prayers.

Glynn had a stroke and speech and comprehension are impaired as well as his left side. His face seems to be unaffected. Keep the good sounds coming……….bill
