One Month Ago in Germany & Today Where We Are

December 1, 2017

One month ago today, one of my contemporary heroes of our faith preached from the pulpit of the Schlosskirche (The Castle Church) in Wittenberg, Germany.

It was the celebration the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther posting his 95 Theses to the front door of the church building, which began what we now call The Protestant Reformation.

In that sermon on All Saints Day a month ago, Leonard Sweet said this:

The Reformation focused on

too much of the world in the church.

The New Re-formation focuses on

not enough of the church in the world.

What say ye?
