Officially, The United Methodist Church is a 12.3-million-strong global church.
Catch that next-to-last word, global?
Not just the local church we claim as ours, but a global one.
“For God so loved the world….”
Christ Jesus said that. (John 3:16)
God has a very big deal going on with the people who are The United Methodist Church; by the grace of God, we are global.
Let’s remember that and give thanks.
