True or False? And Some of Us Have a Lot to Learn

June 20, 2016

“I waited patiently for the Lord,” says Psalm 40:1.

True or False for you and me?

Have we “waited patiently for the Lord” recently?

Or even, like, ever?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve jokingly prayed, “Give me patience. And hurry.”

But that’s not funny. As in, not funny at all.

“I waited patiently for the Lord,” says Psalm 40:1.

Some of us need more practice with this whole patience thing.

Today, this week, join me in waiting. Patiently. For the Lord.

  1. For the past few years, there is no living without patience. For the moment, summoning it seems so hard!! The quote I use to use is “Lord grant me patience, but I WANT it RIGHT NOW!!!”
