God Did Not

June 17, 2016

God did not

send his Son

into the world

to condemn the world,

but to save the world through him.

John 3:17, New International Version

Then why do we condemn?

I read this morning in my devotions that Christians are more critical than anyone. The question remains; Why?

    • Stunning, that you’ve run into this issue twice already today!

You ask a great question, even as it’s dripping in sadness: Why, indeed, Naomi?

(and thank you very much for both reading and commenting)

My theory is humans think they are God. So we think we know the right answers to everything. So it’s easy to tell other people they’re wrong. It also gives people the feeling of being Superior and God like. Some who know God think it gives them a special insight and makes them closer to God so they didn’t have the right to act like him. What they don’t know if they should act more loving. That is what brings you closer to God.

  3. My answer for this one is long and unfinished — when I get back to it…
