Don’t Just Live
“I don’t want you to just live, I want you to be alive.”
Love that line!
It’s spoken by a character in Episode 10 of the first season of Mad Dogs.
At least three different mentors taught me that All Truth is God’s Truth, and that sure applies here.
We’re already into the third day of Easter, and “I don’t want you to just live, I want you to be alive” resonates with the truth of the Resurrection.
“I have come that you may have life, real life, more and better life than you ever imagined possible,” says Christ Jesus in John 10:10b.
“I don’t want you to just live, I want you to be alive,” sounds to me like an echo of that.
Today, by the grace of God, let’s not “just live,” let’s “be alive” in Christ.
